ETHICAL CLIMATE, INNOVATIVE WORK BEHAVIOR, AND WORK ENGAGEMENT: A STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODEL ON THE QUALITY OF WORK-LIFE OF GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES

This research sought to determine the most suitable structural model for work-life quality using factors such as ethical climate, innovative work behavior, and engagement. Four hundred local government employees from Region XI responded a survey after being recruited through stratified sampling. The researchers used statistical methods mean standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient, multiple regression, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analyze data. results showed that engagement, of were all high. Additionally, there was significant relationship between work-life. effect exogenous variables on 22 22.6%. study found engagement best predictor Model 5 fit along with its corresponding manifest vigor, dedication, absorption, predictors adequate fair compensation, use capacities at work, opportunities work. paper discusses these their implications Human Resource Management in units.
